It was as I thought. A night of no interruptions, and she stopped breathing, and was dead in the morning.

We wrapped her in purple tissue paper, and had a little cry before putting her rather unceremoniously in the trash can.

She lived the longest of any of our hamsters thus far. A full 2 years. The maximum life expectancy, I believe.

And she had a good life.
